These and Those

The name for the blog was inspired by an argument between Beit Hillel and Beit Shammai (Babylonian Talmud, Eruvin 13b) that went on for three years. At the end, a heavenly voice came down and said "Both these and those are the words of the living G-d, but Halakhah follows Beit Hillel."
