Musings from Students of the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem

From my blog:
The closing dinner for the Pardes Executive Seminar was held last night at the picturesque Khan Theater and it was not surprisingly a fitting close to a remarkable week. I’m sad that my time here has come to an end; but in some ways it feels like a beginning. I have amassed so much knowledge in such a short time; I’m literally bursting and I have had the privilege of experiencing something truly exceptional.

I’ve met fabulous people and been exposed to some true intellects. I hope to visit Pardes when I am back in two weeks and stay connected to this remarkable institution. As I walked home from dinner along Rehov Harakevet (street of the train) – I felt a keen sense of being elevated in this time and place as I imagine is only possible in Jerusalem, and simultaneously a sense of tranquility in myself. These are modern day blessings.
Rosie and I will leave Jerusalem this morning to enjoy a few hours on the shores of the sparkling Mediterranean sea before heading to the airport to meet the family.
This will be a short post and I will likely go offline for a bit to bask in the glow of quality family time.
I can’t wait to see everyone at Ben Gurion Airport.
Happy July 4th!
