Musings from Students of the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem

Hello Pardedians and world,
While our time in Poland has been very meaningful so far, it is very hard to write full posts while we are here because of how full our days are. Till I devote time when we arrive home in Israel, I will share impressions of our other community members about their experiences in Poland. Here is a thought from our very own Esther Sterlin:
“Through all the moments that I’ve experienced, the thing that has struck me the most , a theme almost, is the powerful presence of the tall, looming trees at the gravesites-as of each one of the thousands is a manifestation one Jewish life. There as an eternal witness. I will never forget these trees.”
Pardes trips to Poland are run in partnership with Heritage Seminars. The Claims Conference has provided trip scholarships for qualifying Pardes participants, as well as subsidies for program components directed at Jewish educators.
